Most Bangs For The Buck

Greeting Everyone,

It does not take a Rocket Scientist to understand that the American economy has been in a regressed mode for the last several years. Everyone wants a bargain and we seek out products, services and goods, which will give the most bangs for the buck.  We consumers want every dollar to count.

I stretch every dollar by creating ways to reuse and recycle products and items. I have spent 8 years gardening and landscaping my personal property through learning valuable lessons from other gardeners - including master gardeners, magazines, and many trial and errors.

Landscaping on the cheap is about applying existing materials and products to create fantastic flowerbeds, borders, trails, garden rooms, walkways and paths. With a little imagination and a willingness to apply physical labor, any homeowner can create a beautiful landscaped a garden. For example, when I first begin gardening, as you will see in the photos that I will blog, I used several not traditional ways to build flowerbeds, walk ways, etc. For several years, my flower beds where surrounded with kitchen plates because of a very limited gardening budget. I incorporated inexpensive ceramic tiles for walkways throughout the garden turf.   Such tiles proved to be less expensive that using slate, more durable than wood, and for me, more attractive than mulch.

Sorry! Uploading the photos are challenging. I promise I will post them soon. In the meantime, I will post several photos of the gardens at the inbetween stage. The intent is for the photos to speak to you. I would love to hear your thoughts on each one.

I will see you soon.

Sandra

P.S. Please give me a few days to work on downloading the photos of the beginning stages of my gardens.
